I will be starting school soon, so I might not be too active on DA.

Hey y'all!

The trip went amazing.
There are so many things I want to tell you guys.
I'm doing good right now.
I've been spending time with a lot of old friends that I've missed more than I even knew.
My grandma isn't doing very well at all, so I'll be spending next week with my family. Or maybe longer depending on how things go.
I've been taking a lot of pictures with my film camera.
I had to pawn my 30D so I had money for the trip.
But I'll hopefully be getting it back.
I don't really mind, I missed film anyway.
I'll be posting pictures either tonight or tomorrow.
There will be a lot, but I challenge you guys to give each and every one a chance. And try to see my heart behind the images. I would really like it if you could.
The guy I wrote "Do Anything" for came to see me yesterday.
We pretty much ended things for good, and I've been crying about that all night.
Hopefully there's a guy out there for me that will really love me for who I am.

I am going home.
It took breaking down for me to realize that this isn't where I'm supposed to be. And that all the crap I've been taking from my family and "friends" isn't right.
I'm going back to Michigan tomorrow.
I probably won't be on DA for a while, but I want all of you to know that you've helped me in ways I can't even express with words.
Your art has helped me through hard times that I wouldn't have been able to get through otherwise.
If you help one person, that's enough. And I want you guys to know that all of your art has helped me. So, don't give up. Keep doing what you love.

A few of my goals are coming along well. Thanks for all the help with the underexposing, I'm getting better at it.

I haven't gotten a lensbaby yet, but I'm hoping that once I get a job I'll have the money to order one. I took an application into Barnes&Noble yesterday, which is where I'd really like to work.
If they don't call me in for an interview by the end of next week I'll probably end up working at Piggly Wiggly or something. Exciting, I know.

I've been reading a lot lately and writing about love. I'm hoping to get a book published at some point in my life. As for Look-Look magazine, my photo wasn't in the new issue. I'm pretty bummed about it. One of the people that works for the magazine sent me a lot of e-mails saying she needed more info from me and that they wanted to use my work in their next issue. Maybe it will be in the next one, I'm not sure. I sent her an e-mail asking about my work... but of course she hasn't replied yet. Which is funny, because I sent her a number of e-mails asking her questions before and she replied rather quickly. Oh well. The magazine is still amazing. I finally bought it yesterday. You should pick one up for yourself, you won't be sorry.
I'm sure there will be more magazines in the future. And I hope at some point to get my photos in some type of museum. It's something to work at.
